What is it?
The Be Just Internship Program is a training and civic advocacy initiative aimed at six young people committed to justice, institutional transparency, and the strengthening of democracy in Guatemala. Over the course of a year, the interns will combine hands-on training, direct support for the organization’s work, and the development of strategic communications, fostering a new generation of leaders.
Duration: 1 year, from October 2026 to October 2027.
The program is organized into three areas of focus spread out over the course of the year: training, project management, and strategic communication.
What do participants get out of it?
- Development of critical thinking skills and situational analysis.
- Practical experience in project management gained through direct involvement in Be Just's activities.
- Building capacity in strategic communication.
- Belonging to a network of people committed to building a fairer society for Guatemala and the region.
Ideal candidate profile
- Age:18 to 30 years old.
- Education: Studies or interest in law, political science, communication, or related fields.
- Motivation: Demonstrable commitment to strengthening the rule of law in Guatemala and the region.
- Commitment: Attend scheduled activities and events, especially those for which you are responsible and those designed to further your training.
- Location: Must live in the department of Guatemala.
