Sofía Figueroa is an attorney and public notary who graduated from Universidad Rafael Landívar. She currently works as an attorney at the law firm Rivers & Asociados, where she practices in the corporate sector and specializes in civil and commercial law, as well as civil and commercial litigation.
Her education has been enriched by various certificate programs and continuing education courses in human rights, gender perspectives, women’s rights, and electoral law—areas that have strengthened her comprehensive legal perspective and her commitment to justice.
Passionate about human rights, constitutional law, and the defense of the rule of law, she is a volunteer at Be Just, promoting initiatives focused on judicial independence, democracy, and the promotion and respect for human rights.
