Jimmy Ramírez is a community representative. He represents the country’s historically marginalized and underrepresented sectors in the Congress of the Republic, participating in various discussions and forums with members of Congress and, on occasion, with high-ranking government officials, such as ministers. Thanks to his work, he has received several awards from this high-level government body. He is an advocate for peace and justice in Guatemala and across various institutional sectors, as well as a defender of democracy. He is currently a volunteer at Believe in Justice (Be Just) , where he actively participates in workshops to raise awareness about the country’s justice system.
