Andrés Lemus is a second-year law student at Universidad Rafael Landívar, with an interest in international law and human rights. He currently volunteers at Believe in Justice —Be Just—, where he assists with legal analysis and civic education activities. He participated in the workshop “The Selection of the Attorney General of the Public Prosecutor’s Office: Challenges, Relevance, and Its Impact on the Rule of Law,” which deepened his understanding of institutional challenges in Guatemala. He aspires to specialize in international human rights protection mechanisms to contribute to strengthening the rule of law.
